- Can I send a gift from Frameology to my friend?
Absolutely. We believe that a beautifully framed photograph is the undisputed best present in the world. For extra personalization, you can include a personalized gift note during checkout. We will hand write it for you and include it in the package. Lastly, we also offer elegent white and gold gift wrapping for an extra $5 per item, which you can also select during checkout.
- How do I change my order once placed?
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and if you caught it in time we will do our best to make the change. Usually this time period is within 24 hours of when you placed your order.
- How do I check the status of my order?
We’re working on a way for you to check your order status online, but for now, we are on hand to assist you. Please email us at email@example.com, and we will get back to you as soon as possible with your status.
- How do I send multiple frames to different addresses?
If you want to purchase multiple products with the same or different photos (e.g. one for you and one as a gift for your mother), please place a separate order for each address. We will store your photos, so there no need to upload the same image twice.
- What if I have a problem with my order?
Oh no! There is nothing more important to us than making you happy. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will do our very best to set things right.
- What is your returns policy?
We stand behind the products we create. If you are not happy with the quality of your order or believe your product has a manufacturing defect or damage – please contact us so we can make things right. Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. Dependent upon the defective issue we may request you provide a photo of the production error or shipping damage so that we may submit the issue to our print team. You may opt for replacement of merchandise, credit on a future order or a full refund. Be sure to keep original packaging as it may be needed to process the return or exchange.
Due to the custom nature of our products, we are unable to refund your order for customer created errors, including but not limited to: poor image quality or low resolution, layout errors and missing images, content quality, product selection mistakes (i.e. product size or style choices), color differences between your home computer and our professionally calibrated printing systems.
We cannot provide refunds or exchanges due to damages caused by customer handling, storage or treatment. To ensure an easy return process, please send us an email at email@example.com with your order number and photo of defect or shipping damage. Please allow 1-2 business days for our team to be in touch with you.
- What's the cost of shipping and how long does it take?
<p>UPS Ground shipping is free when you make a purchase of $50 or more, and $4.99 for an order below $50. Ground usually takes 2-3 working days if you are located in the Western USA and 4-5 working days to the Eastern USA. We also offer expedited shipping via UPS 3-Day Select and 2nd-Day Air services. These rates are determined based on the package’s size, weight, and distance to be traveled.</p>
- Where do you ship?
We currently ship throughout the United States. We are working hard to bring you international shipping as soon as possible.
Images and File Types
- Can I upload images from social media?
Absolutely! But images from these sites are automatically resized by the program and may not have sufficient resolution for large image templates. While other sites may allow you to print these photos onto their products with a warning, our standards are higher. We limit these photos to only the resolutions that will produce a high quality print. Because we care A LOT about quality.
What does this mean? Most images from Facebook will look good in a 4x6 frame and some are suitable for even larger formats. From Instagram, you can use a 5x5 frame. We always recommend that you use the original image files if you have them available (such as on your computer or mobile device).
- Do you keep my photos on file?
If you create an account, you can save your uploaded images.
- What digital image formats do you accept through this site?
We accept .gif, .png, and .jpg files. If you have an image that is not in one of these formats, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to see if we can help.
- What resolution should my files be in?
When in doubt, maximum resolution is always best! We want to ensure the highest quality product for your precious memories, so we recommend that you use photos above 300dpi, and the minimum that we allow is 150dpi. Take a look at what that means for resolutions at different frame sizes:
4x6 / 600 x 900 (minimum) / 1200 x 1800 (recommended)
5x5 / 500 x 500 (minimum) / 1500 x 1500 (recommended)
5x7 / 750 x 1050 (minimum) / 1500 x 2100 (recommended)
8x10 / 1200 x 1500 (minimum) / 2400 x 3000 (recommended)
11x14 / 1650 x 2100 (minimum) / 3300 x 4200 (recommended)
Care and Use
- What are the care instructions for my frame?
Frameology frames are all hand crafted and of the finest quality. But they can get scratched, so never lay them down on a hard surface. To clean your frame, avoid using harsh chemical cleaners. A soft cloth is all you need. Even our sterling silver frames require minimal maintenance. They are all tarnish proof, so you will never need to polish them.
