Countdown to Coachella: Your Survival Guide
Ah, Coachella. One of the best music festivals in the entire world and it’s almost here! Everyone’s getting ready for this awesome time of the year, but what exactly should you be preparing? There’s so much to think about when prepping for one of the biggest music festivals in the world. Down below are some of the top things you should keep in mind and figure out before you start rocking out!
OK, so the first thing you’ve got to think about is how you’re going to get to Coachella (duh). You’ll want to figure this out pretty soon, if you haven’t already. Prices are going up every day and we know you definitely don’t want to pay any more than you want to. By far, the best way to get to this festival is by flying into LAX and then driving to the camp site. This is pretty much the easiest option, so go for it if you can!
After you’ve got your transportation set up, you’re going to need a place to sleep, right? And when you think of Coachella, what do you think is the best accommodation experience? If you want the real Coachella experience, you should go for staying in the campgrounds onsite. That way, you can just roll out of bed and start partying right away. Imagine staying with all the other festival-goers and being in the midst of everything 24/7 - it’s going to be insane!
Now we get to the fun part - the clothes! Coachella fashion is notorious for being some of the best in the world, so it’s time to show off your stuff at this festival. However, make sure you keep in mind the temperature changes - you’re going to be sweating bullets during the day and coping with cooler temperatures at night. You can definitely wear the latest fashion trends, but also think about how to be a bit more practical when you need to be!
As much as you want to pack light for Coachella, you’ve got to remember some essentials other than the clothes you’re wearing. The two biggest tips we can give is to bring a portable phone charger and an empty water bottle. Sure, there are other things to bring, but these two items are going to be absolute lifesavers on the grounds. Imagine running out of battery on your phone and not being able to Snap the whole festival to your jealous friends at home! Also, hydration is important since you’ll be in the heat, and under the sun, during the day.
The last point we have is something that you’re not going to want to forget. Bring a camera or your iPhone with you to the festival to take photos of the great memories you make. Once you’re back home, you can take these photos and add them into a picture frame from Frameology to keep the memories going long after the fun ends.
You’re going to be set with all of these tips for Coachella. Have fun and make tons of memories - it’s going to be a blast!
